entering the healing grounds

Working with the soul, you work at geologic speed, learn its rhythm because this is how the soul moves ~ Clark Barry

Tracking Soul ... deepen, live at the rhythm of soul not of the machine. Go to deep self acceptance. Part of grief is not being known or welcomed in ~ Francis Weller

Nature and Madness ~ Paul Shepard Human Biologist We are designed to be intimately connected to Nature and a small group of people and to have this embedded into a sacred cosmology .This makes for a healthy life. Deep participation and intimacy with the wild surrounds.  Coming Home to the Pleistocene.

Maledomas Solme (to make friends with a stranger) ~ untouched sorrow of not belonging
The Wisdom Bridge

Grief Rituals - Touching Our Sorrow
What the soul wants is to fully express and honour what has happened

The deeper the sorrow the greater the joy - release the heart of its weight - speak the sorrow - touch the soul - come home

Grief and Gratitude are balanced - Jungian - holding opposites - Alchemy
5 Gates of Grief:
1. loss of someone or something,
2. loosing something that has never been touched by love (things shunted to the Shadow),
3. The Sorrow of the Earth -' I know the earth and I am sad'
4. when we came to the planet we came wired for the symphany of humanity - connection ... that isn't present ... so we blame ourself for this absence - we see that its our flaw - its a feeling of emptiness where something special and strange and Other and wild should have been but instead we have violence and warfare - not connection - something fundamental is missing that I was expecting, is it my fault that I don't have this larger family meeting in circles. The unforgotten wisdom at the core of the psyche, some part of us recognises it even though we have never experienced it. We are hard wired for ritual - to lean into each other in the circle, around the fire, under the moon and share. I recognise this ... I did it after Sri Lanka the first time. Longing is the sensation of having tasted
5.  Ancestral Grief - where our ancestors left - we all come from an indigenous culture somewhere - with it's own wisdom - with a geography, a ritual, a way of knowing the world. Lingering grief of the injuries caused by leaving place. Longing is so core to our being and we will do anything to have some psudo sense of belonging.

The soul cannot become itself without an Other that is always found in a You ~ Jung
The greatest part of the soul lies outside the body ~ Santivogius - in the liminal plane

"The next Buddha will not come as an individual but as a community" - Dali Lama

We need to be ritually literate again - to find ways to explose and reveal what we have been told to hold indivisually - we need to speak the great truths of our lives.

Restore primary satisfaction - touch, celebration and gratitude, eating together under the stars, telling stories around the fire, sensuousness connection to the wider world - all else produces hunger
